Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 7: No Competition for Vettaiyan, Dominates Box Office in 7 Days

Vettaiyan 7 Days Box Office Collection: Superstar Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan's latest film Vettaiyan, which had been in the spotlight for several days, was released in theaters on October 10. It clashed with Alia Bhatt's Jigra and Rajkummar Rao's Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video at the box office. However, both films seem to have failed in front of Vettaiyan. Now, a week has passed, and Vettaiyan continues its strong hold at the box office, having already crossed the ₹100 crore mark.

Vettaiyan Box Office Collection in 7 Days
According to Sacnilk, Vettaiyan earned ₹4.3 crore on its seventh day, i.e., Wednesday, bringing its total collection in India to ₹118.80 crore. Meanwhile, its worldwide collection is approaching the ₹250 crore mark.

Looking at the six-day collection, the film opened with ₹31.7 crore on its first day. On the second day, it earned ₹24 crore. On the third day, the film collected ₹26.75 crore. The fourth day saw a collection of ₹22.3 crore. Then, on Monday (the fifth day), the film earned ₹5.6 crore, while on Tuesday (the sixth day), it collected ₹4.3 crore.

As for Jigra, it earned ₹21.10 crore in 6 days, while the film's budget is estimated to be ₹300 crore. On the other hand, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video earned ₹25.15 crore in 6 days, but it still hasn't recovered its budget.

As of now, Vettaiyaan has shown strong initial box office performance. To be declared a hit, the film needs to achieve at least ₹300 crores in business from theatrical revenue. So far, it has earned ₹118.80 crores in India and ₹250 crores worldwide.
